Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Richmond, Virginia is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

The role of the Assistant Superintendent requires organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team. Responsibilities include:
• Managing day to day scheduling for crew members
• Managing greens moisture
• Understanding Toro Lynx software and basic irrigation needs
• Understanding of chemical applications and equipment calibration
• Ability to operate all equipment
• Ability to diagnose and repair irrigation
• Ability to diagnose and amend agronomic issues
• Ability to prioritize and adapt to any circumstance
• Sharp attention to detail and organization
• Professionalism when representing First Tee at local and national events
• Maintaining a valid Driver’s License and Pesticide License
Requirements
Experience as an Assistant Superintendent is preferred but not required
Degree in Turfgrass Management or a related field is preferred but not required
Drivers License – Pesticide License
Compensation
$55,000 to $60,000 per year.
