Be knowledgeable to answer questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandiseStock shelves, counters, or tables with merchandiseCarefully follow instructions per specific service and repair requests of the customer, including reshafting, club extensions, regriping, cut downs/tipping, loft/lie adjustments, and club stamping Fit golf clubs per Scheels and vendor expectationsAttend and attain certifications from the Master Fitting SchoolRead and interpret launch monitor numbers to assist customers in club selection and alignmentCommunicate professionally with vendors, associates, and customersUse tools and equipment such as a torch, grinder, and saw safely to meet Scheel's expectationsAttend sales and product knowledge training meetingsAbility to read, write, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsEducation & Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), or 3 months of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:
Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
Very heavy work – Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must be able to also exert up to 50 - 80 lbs of pulling force regularly.
