This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: Driftwood Golf and Ranch Club, set outside of Austin, TX.

Driftwood Golf and Ranch Club is seeking a Club AP Specialist to join the Finance and Accounting Department.

The Club AP Specialist will be responsible for assisting with the organization, coordination, and implementation of office administration and member/guest communication and relations for the residents/members of the project. In this position, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.

Key ResponsibilitiesSet up new vendors in the Club Operating SystemMonitor the Club Accounts Payable email addressProcess invoices through the Club Operating SystemSecure W9\'s for vendorsAnswer all incoming vendor inquiries and resolve potential payment discrepanciesAssist with the completion of credit applicationsProvide invoices to Department Heads and assist with codingMaintain accounts payable vendor files and attachmentsMaintain subcontractor compliances as applicableAssist with annual auditsReconcile monthly vendor statementsProcess annual filing of 1099 formsYear-end close procedures for AP, i.e., 1099\'s, etc.Assist Accounting personnel with projects as neededQualifications2-5 years of accounts payable and general accounting experienceKnowledge and recent use of Jonas Software or TEI (preferred)Knowledge of ExcelKnowledge of general accounting proceduresAbility to multi-task and manage multiple projects or assignments at one timeAdditional RequirementsPositive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team membersMust be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
