Irrigation Technician

Monitoring all Citrazoy Lawns, Bahia Roadsides, Landscape Shrub Zones, Tree Bubblers, and Planters. Spot water as needed. Repair breaks & conduct basic maintenance to the system.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:

1. Operate irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water.

2. Repair the irrigation system, pipes, and irrigation heads as needed.

3. Complete requests for irrigation and course parts and supplies.

4. Grade and prepare soil base, lay sod, and seed.

5. Ability to operate equipment safely and properly.

6. Operate dump trucks and other light equipment in hauling materials and removing debris.

7. Promptly report any equipment issues.

8. Ensure a safe work environment by following all safety rules and wearing appropriate safety equipment including safety helmets, ear protection, and non-skid shoes.

9. Occasionally supervise a small labor force for special projects, and perform other duties as directed by supervisor.

1. Self-motivated, independent worker, detail oriented, strong work ethic, good communicator.

2. Ability to train staff on proper use of irrigation equipment

3. Self-starter with the ability to manage time effectively

4. Ability to work independently & as part of a team

5. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends & holidays, 10-15 OT hours weekly available
