About the Role

Overview: The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager supports the daily operation of the Food & Beverage program at Fiddler's Creek Golf Club, a premier private golf club in Naples, Florida. This role combines operational leadership, hospitality excellence, team supervision, member engagement, and hands-on execution across club dining venues and events. Responsibilities: - Assist in managing daily food and beverage operations across dining venues, bar service, member events, private functions, and social activities. - Actively participate in service execution and member interaction during peak periods. - Ensure timely opening, shift transition, and closing procedures. - Monitor service flow and staffing levels. - Assist with beverage inventory management, receiving, invoice verification, and cost control initiatives. - Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate records. - Supervise dining, patio, and guest-facing operations. - Train and coach service staff on hospitality standards. - Partner closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team to ensure smooth communication between FOH and BOH operations. - Lead by example through active floor presence. - Support onboarding, training, and staff development. - Ensure food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards are maintained. - Assist with scheduling, labor tracking, reporting, and operational documentation. Qualifications: - 2-5 years of progressive food and beverage or hospitality experience. - Previous supervisory experience preferred. - Knowledge of front-of-house operations and inventory controls. - Strong communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills. - Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, evenings, and special events. - Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, with a strong hospitality-focused vocabulary and professional communication skills.
