Job Purpose
The Clubhouse Maintenance Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall condition of the clubhouse and surrounding facilities. This hands-on role supports daily operations by performing routine cleaning, light maintenance, and facility upkeep to ensure a welcoming and well-presented environment for members, guests, and staff.
Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness of clubhouse interiors including restrooms, locker rooms, dining areas, offices, and common spacesPerform routine light maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, minor repairs, unclogging drains, tightening fixtures, and basic troubleshootingConduct regular inspections of the clubhouse to identify maintenance or safety concernsSupport upkeep of outdoor areas including patios, walkways, and entrywaysAssist with event setup and breakdown, including moving furniture or equipment as neededSafely operate cleaning equipment and maintain proper storage of suppliesRespond promptly to maintenance requests from club staffFollow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with company standardsReport larger repair needs or safety issues to leadership
Qualifications
Prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, facility maintenance, or a similar role preferredBasic knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipmentAbility to perform minor repairs and general facility upkeepStrong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environmentAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyStrong work ethic and reliabilityFlexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Working Conditions
Regular movement throughout the clubhouse and surrounding groundsExtended periods of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying items up to 50 poundsExposure to cleaning chemicals, mechanical equipment, and varying indoor/outdoor temperaturesWork may involve early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on club operations
