Golf Course Grounds Maintenance- Governors Club

Governors Club is calling all individuals with a true passion for the outdoors, grounds maintenance, and the game of golf to apply and join our team in Golf Course Maintenance.

Golf Course Grounds Maintenance is an entry-level position to aid the golf course maintenance team in small task related to mowing and course conditioning. Individuals should have the ability to operate primarily small equipment such as string trimmers, fly mowers, walking greens mowers, sand pro and utility vehicles. Based on their experience and quality of work these operators may be requested to learn to operate larger equipment.

Mow FairwaysWood workingPaintingIrrigation repairsTree trimmingOperate small equipmentWalk mowing greensSet golf course; cut cups, move tee markersHand raking and power raking bunkersString trimming creeks and other parts of the courseEdging curbsHelp to complete various small projects such as sodding, tree removal, bunker renovation, etc.Help ensure the maintenance facility is kept neat and clean and all equipment is being washed off properly

Qualifications

Ability to work outdoors, all seasons, and in all weather conditionsSome Landscape maintenance experience preferred, but not required18 years in age by the start dateValid Driver's License

Full-Time: Regular employee averaging 32 or more hours per week after 90 days

Rate Of Pay

Starting at $16 - $19+ per hour-DOE

Typical work week Growing Season (May - September)

Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 4:00 pm

Rotating Weekends (Saturday - Sunday) 6:30 am - 11:00 am

Typical work week Fall/Winter (October - April)

Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Rotating Weekends (Saturday - Sunday) 6:30 am - 11:00 am
