ABOUT THE NORTHERN TEXAS PGA
The Northern Texas PGA is one of 41 Sections of the PGA of America and its geographic territory includes the State of Texas north of the 31st latitude, or just north of Austin. The Northern Texas PGA serves approximately 1,200 PGA members and associates employed at more than 400 facilities.
The Northern Texas PGA has 24 full-time staff members and opened its own state of the art headquarters on the PGA Frisco campus in December of 2022. It should be noted that 16 of our 24 staff members are former interns of the Northern Texas PGA.
In addition to managing the day-to-day affairs of the Section, the Northern Texas PGA also operates a non-profit and charitable foundation that focuses on five pillars: junior golf, college scholarships, inclusion, internships, and military and veterans. The foundation also owns and operates The Ronny Golf Park . In 2025, the Section won the Herb Graffis award for its growth of the game initiatives. POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director of Accounting plays a pivotal leadership role overseeing the core financial, operational, and some human resource functions for both the Northern Texas PGA Section and the Northern Texas PGA Foundation. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this position is responsible for ensuring complete financial integrity, seamless payroll and benefits administration, tax and audit preparation, and effective office technology infrastructure.
