Waitstaff/Server

Overview As a Waitstaff/Server, you’ll create a welcoming dining experience through attentive guest service, accurate orders, and timely food and beverage service. You’ll coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house teammates, keep your work area clean, and help guests make informed menu choices. Your impact: Clear communication and thoughtful service help guests enjoy their meals and help the team keep service running smoothly. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE Duties

Greet and serve guests, answer menu questions, and manage orders from seating through payment. Provide food, drink, and cocktail service; use sales and upselling skills to make relevant recommendations. Enter orders and process sales transactions using point-of-sale (POS) systems; handle cash and complete basic math accurately. Coordinate with kitchen staff, bussers, and hosts; support food preparation and table turnover as needed. Follow food handling, food safety, and sanitation practices while maintaining a clean dining area.

Qualifications

Customer service, guest relations, hospitality, serving, or guest services experience is valuable; restaurant, food service, food industry, fine dining, or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems is helpful, including Aloha POS or Micros POS; OpenTable experience is also welcome. Able to manage time, handle cash, process cash transactions, and perform basic math accurately. Food handling, beverage service, drink service, cashiering, bussing, host/hostess, culinary, kitchen, or food preparation experience is beneficial. Cocktail and spirits experience, wine knowledge, sales transaction processing, and understanding of food safety and sanitation are preferred.

Pay: $17.00 - $17.01 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 – 35.0 per week Benefits
