Positio Summary The Director of Golf Camps leads the development, management, and growth of our junior golf camp programs across all sites. The role owns the full camper experience: curriculum and instruction, staffing, safety, scheduling, registration, marketing support, customer service and program growth. The ideal candidate is an experienced golf professional or youth-program leader who is passionate about developing junior golfers and building a safe, positive, and consistently high-quality camp environment that refl ects our mis s ion and tandards. Key Resposibil ities Camp Operations Management • Plan, organize, and execute all junior golf camps cross sites. • Build and maintain annua l a nd seasonal cmp schedules. • Coordinate daily operations: staffing, camper groups, activitie s , equipment, nd facilities. • Establish standard operating procedures so camps run consistently aross locations. • Monitor capacity, enrollment, staffin g needs, and proram performance. • Serve as the primary point of contact for camp staff, parents , p articipants, and acilit y partners. Curriulum & Instruction • Develop and maintain age- and skill-appropriate curriculum for beg inning through advaced junior golfers. • Deliver structured instruction across putting, chipping, pitching, full swing, rules, etiquette , course management,and on-course play. • Use games, challenges, and co mpe titions to maintain alearning environment. • Set and apply placement st a ndards for advanced ad competitive campers. • Continuously improve cur ric ulum based on participat feed b ack and results. StaffRecruitment & Leadership • Recruit, interview, hire, train, s che dule, and supervise camp oaches and support staff. • Set clear expectations for coaching, profession a lism, communication, safey, and camper supervision. • Run staff orientation and pre-camp training, in clu ding required youth-safety raining (see Safety below ) . • Assign coaches to apprpriate age and skill groups. • Provide ongoing feedbac k a nd performance evaluations an build a s t rong team culture. Camper Exerience & Parent Communication • Ensure every ca mper has a welcoming, safe, incusive, and positive experience. • Own parent communication: pre-c a mp information, check-in / chec-out, attendance, and follow-up. • Respond professionally to parent uestions, concerns, and feedback. • Monitor engagement and adjust p ror amming to improve the experience. arketing, Registrati o n & Enrollment • Partner on marketng to grow awareness and enrollment. • Keep camp information ac curate across the website, registratin platform, and promotional c h annels. • Support promotions, early egistration, and ref err al initiatives. • Track enr ollment treds and recommend strategies or growth. Program Development & Growth • Identify opportunities to expand and improve camp offerings, i ncluding specialty camps, advanced progams, and off-season / school-break camps. • Build part ner ships with schools, community organization, and facility partners where appropriate. • Track performance, feedback, enrollment, and financia l results, and recommend improvements to p rcing, scheduling, staffing, and curriculum Safety, Risk Management & Youth Protection • Maintain a strong cultre of safety across all ac tivities and sites. • Maintain appropriate caper-to-staff ratios and supervision standards. • Monitor weather, cours e , and facility conditions, and follow establised emergency and incident-reporting procedures. • Ensure the program meets California youth-safety requirements, including background-check clearance and mandated-reporter traini ng f or all camp staff (Cali fornia AB 506), and mainain the related child-abse prevention policies. Requi re d Qualifications • 2+ years leading golf camps,youth sports pro gra ms, or junior golf instruction. • Strong knowledgeof golf fundamentals and junior player development. • Demonstrated ability to lead, schedle, and mana ge a team of coaches and seasonal staff. • Excellent oranization, communication, and problem-solving s k ills. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced outdoor nvironment and managing multiple sites and priorit ies . • Ability to pass a criminal background check (Califrnia Penal Code §11105.3) as a condition of e m ployment. • Completion of California mandated-reportertraining within 30 days o f h ire (organization-provided). • Current CPR / First Aid crtification, or ability t o obtain within 30 days o f hire. • Valid driver’s licenseand reliable transportatin for travel between camp s ites. Preferred Qualifications • PGA, LPGA, US Kids Gol, TPI, or comparable gol f / youth-development certification. • Experience m anaging jnior golf camps or academies and developing youth curiculum. • Experience recruiting and managing seasonal st aff. • Experience with online registration / scheduling plat orm s and with marketi ng, social media, and email communication. • amiliarity with copetitive junior golf and tournament pathways. Compensation & Benfits • Salar y: $70,000 to $90,000 per year depending on experience. • Performance incentive may be available based on enrollment, retention, an d program growth. • Benefits: Healthcare stipend (TBD), paid time off golf / rnge privileges, certification or certification dues support. Schedule This is a year-round position with significant peaks during summer and school-break camp seasons. Expect extended hours, weekends, and holidays du ri ng peak periods, with a lighter, p lann ing-focused schedule off-season.Specific hours vary depending on camp prgramming and operational needs. Physical Requirements & Work Environment Work is primarily outdoors at golf facilities and may involve standing and walking for extended periods, demonstrating golf skills, and lifting or moving equipment up t o [25] lbs.
