We are seeking a proficient and dedicated Head Golf Course Superintendent to lead our championship 9-hole private club to maintain the highest standards of course presentation and playability. As the Head Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of golf course maintenance operations, including turfgrass management, irrigation systems, equipment maintenance, and staff supervision. Your role will involve developing and implementing maintenance programs, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of agronomy practices, irrigation systems, and turfgrass management techniques to ensure the course remains in top condition year-round. - Bachelor's degree in turf management, agronomy, horticulture, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in golf course management
- Strong knowledge of turfgrass management practices and irrigation systems
- Experience in maintaining equipment is a plus
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage budgets and prioritize tasks effectively
- Certification or licensure in pesticide application is a plus
- Experience in pool operations is a plus (CPO)
