Grounds crew member/ Greenskeeper

A Golf Course Grounds Crew Member is responsible for maintaining the appearance, playability, and overall condition of the golf course. This includes mowing, landscaping, irrigation, and general grounds maintenance to ensure the course is safe, clean, and visually appealing for golfers. Key Responsibilities: - Mow greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and other turf areas using specialized equipment. - Trim trees, shrubs, and hedges, and maintain landscaped areas. - Rake and maintain bunkers (sand traps). - Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and utility vehicles. - Water turf and landscaping using irrigation systems; identify and report irrigation issues. - Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides according to safety guidelines and supervisor instructions. - Repair divots, ball marks, and damaged turf. - Remove debris, leaves, litter, and fallen branches from the course. - Assist with course setup, including changing hole locations, setting tee markers, and placing course signage. - Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance. - Follow all safety procedures and environmental regulations. - Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by the golf course superintendent or supervisor.
