Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Club in Sanibel, Florida is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.
Position Overview:
The Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional assists the overall Golf Operations by providing exceptional Member and Guest service while assisting with the management of the Golf Shop, daily golf activities, merchandising, retail operations, and tee time coordination.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about growing the game and will play an active role in enhancing and promoting the Club’s Women’s Golf Program, in particular, through clinics, individual instruction, tournaments, Member engagement, and innovative programming, while supporting all areas of golf operations.
Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Two years of private club experience preferred.
• PGA Member or Associate desirable. PGA Class A preferred.
• Experience running tournaments and golf events preferred.
• Exceptional professionalism, communication, and service skills.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to multitask under pressure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Club Essential POS / Tee Sheet, Golf Genius and other golf related software.
• Availability for weekends and holidays.
• Passion for the game of golf and Member engagement.
Compensation
$22.00 per hour.
