Position: Podcast and Film Club Description: Students will demonstrate an understanding of audio storytelling and filming, recognize podcast and filming mediums, learn the essentials of podcasting (quality sound, podcast production) and of filming (lighting, camera angles, film production), improve skills for podcasting (writing, research, interviews, editing, and on-air presentation) and for filming (storyboard, scriptwriting, directing, formats for silent movies and short films) Media Center/Tech Lab Activities would include Creating plots for a film and a podcast

Writing, researching, interviewing

Qualifications: Previous experience preferred. The following assignments shall be considered extra duty assignments and qualify, therefore, for extra duty compensation under Category 1: Student Club Sponsor (TBD approximately 9 weeks). All extra duty compensation, except as otherwise specified, shall be determined by multiplying the rate of 2 percent by the base salary (Step 1, Level 1) for the school year then in effect.
