St. Charles Country Club is seeking a highly skilled Golf Course Equipment Manager to join the Agronomy Team. This position is responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, repair, and fabrication of golf course equipment used in a high-performance private club environment.
We are looking for an experienced professional with extensive knowledge of Toro and Jacobsen equipment, reel and rotary mower systems, hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting, and welding and fabrication. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing tournament-quality equipment and maintaining a safe, efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain Toro and Jacobsen equipment.
Set up, adjust, and maintain reel mowers to exact cutting specifications.
Service rotary mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, sprayers, and other related equipment.
Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, diesel, gasoline, and mechanical systems.
Perform preventative maintenance programs and maintain service records.
Grind reels and bed knives and ensure optimal cutting quality.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe equipment maintenance facility.
Assist with equipment purchasing recommendations, inventory management, and long-term fleet planning.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of golf course equipment manager experience preferred.
Extensive experience with Toro and Jacobsen equipment
Strong knowledge of reel mower setup, grinding, and adjustment
Strong knowledge in diagnosing the root problem, not just changing parts until its fixed
Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
