Nestled on over 1,000 acres just before the bridge to Hilton Head Island, Moss Creek is home totwo Tom Fazio-designed championship golf courses, stunning natural landscapes, and a vibrant private club community. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside an experienced leadership team and play a key role in maintaining premier golf conditions for our members and guests.

What You’ll DoAs the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent, you will help lead the daily operations of our golf course maintenance team and support the Superintendent and Director of Golf & Grounds Maintenance in delivering exceptional course conditions.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting with the maintenance of tees, greens, fairways, roughs, lagoons, and cart pathsSupervising and developing Equipment Operators, Irrigation Technicians, and Spray TechniciansScheduling work assignments and maximizing the efficient use of resourcesTraining employees on equipment operation and safe work practicesApplying pesticides and calibrating and maintaining application equipmentMaintaining a clean and organized chemical facilityAssisting with irrigation, drainage systems and pump operationsSupporting employee development, safety initiatives, and performance managementPerforming daily course setup and filling in for supervisory staff as neededAssisting Community Maintenance operations when necessaryWhat We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications:

Turf degree, Turf Certificate, or a minimum of five (5) years of applicable golf course maintenance experienceValid driver’s licenseStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsStrong mathematical aptitude, including budgeting, measurements, and equipment calibrationBasic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet applicationsAbility to read, write, and understand EnglishPhysical RequirementsThis position is primarily outdoors and requires the ability to:
