Position Summary
As a Center Manager, you will become a mentor and leader to the rest of the coaches in a center while continuing to provide services to your students. We are looking for those who exemplify our core values, show an aptitude for leadership, and enjoy carrying out our mission to help people play better golf. Center Managers will play a key role in ensuring efficient and successful operations and report on monthly performance and inventory to leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Uphold GOLFTEC Company Values and GOLFTEC Policies and Procedures in the Training Center
Execute all responsibilities and expectations of a Certified Personal Coach in addition to managerial responsibilities
Onboard, train, and develop Certified Personal Coaches while supporting their GOLFTEC University readiness and successful completion
Oversee performance management of Coaches including lesson reviews, performance appraisals, monthly goals, and annual reviews
Ensure prioritization of Customer Service at every level and attend to student concerns as necessary
Manage the Training Center hours of operation and schedule book while ensuring compliance with all State & Federal mandatory breaks and GOLFTEC policy
Provide monthly performance versus goals reports to leadership
Audit and approve timecards for all employees in the Training Center
Split monthly commissions and conduct individual commission split meetings with all Coaches
Conduct Monthly Staff Meetings
Collaborate with GOLFTEC Headquarters and execute directives to improve Center operations
Ensure completion of the daily opening and closing checklist
Requirements
2+ years of experience in golf instruction is required
1+ years of experience with club fitting is preferred
Prior experience as a GOLFTEC Certified Personal Coach is highly preferred
Affiliation with the PGA/LPGA is preferred
An aptitude for leadership
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Time management and prioritization of multiple tasks
Knowledge of golf swing mechanics
Ability to stand, bend, kneel or crouch for extended periods and lift items weighing more than 30 pounds
Graduation from a PGM program is a plus
