1st Asst Golf Professional

To assist in the daily Golf Operations as well as work closely with the other Assistant Golf Professionals and Golf Services Team to insure an excellent experience for all Members and their Guests.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to, starting, rangering, merchandising, tournament set and close, handicap chairman and special orders.To assist in the daily Golf Operations as well as work closely with the other Assistant Golf Professionals and Golf Services Team to insure an excellent experience for all Members and their Guests.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to, starting, rangering, merchandising, tournament set and close, handicap chairman and special orders.

Responsible for Special Orders

Handle all defective returns of merchandise.

Stocking Golf Shop Supplies.

Enforce all Golf Club Rules and Regulations.

Teach Members and their Guests.

Assist with monthly inventory.

Responsible for opening and closing the Golf Shop.

Assist in cleaning of the Golf Shop.

Assist in training the other Assistant Golf Professionals and Golf Shop Assistants.

Perform all handicap duties for the membership.

Day to day tee sheet management.

Marshalling / Rangering the Golf Course.

Assist in all Member Golf Tournaments.

Responsible for the ordering of all hard goods (Golf Clubs)

Responsible for the ordering and inventory of gloves, rangefinders, bags etc.

Attend ongoing Seminars for continuing Education.

Employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the company as requested by the supervisor.

PGA Member preferred.

Completion of a two year Golf Management Program preferred.

Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, with members and employees, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information and to resolve problems.

High School graduate or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
