Esmeralda is one (1) of four (4) City owned municipal golf courses.
Constructed in 1956, this course is celebrating its 70th year of operation in 2026. Esmeralda is located in Northeast Spokane and is a cornerstone of the neighborhood. Esmeralda offers open space and flat fairways lined with over 2,000 trees. This combination of attributes makes the superbly maintained course an easy one to break a score of 100, yet tough to break par. Seniors and beginners find Esmeralda a great haven and help to make it a popular municipal course with a par 70, 6,331 yards. Esmeralda’s layout lends itself to all levels of golfing skills.
Ratings:

Men's Blue: 68.3/111

Women's Blue: 79.2/120

Men's White: 67.2/110

Women's White: 67.7/112

Women's Red: 69.7/112

The 6,331 yard course is complemented by a pro shop, a grass driving range with concrete hitting stations, an attached restaurant with indoor seating, an outdoor patio area with dynamic views of the course and Beacon Hill and on-site parking.
