The property is also proud of hosting PGA Tour\nevents, showcasing the North Course on a national stage and reinforcing\nSilverado’s reputation as one of the premier golf destinations in California.\n\nThe Assistant Golf Professional will play a key role in supporting the Golf\nOperations team in the day-to-day management of the golf operation. This\nincludes oversight of golf shop operations, tournament execution, staff\nleadership, and delivering a seamless experience rooted in Silverado’s Four Keys\nof Service: Warmth, Personalization, Awareness, and Proactivity. Responsibilities Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of golf tournaments and\nspecial events, including tournament setup, scoring, and administration using\nGolf Genius software.Organize, run, and actively participate in weekly member games to promote\nengagement, camaraderie, and enjoyment of the game.Build and maintain positive relationships with members and their guests by\nproviding a high level of service and personalized engagement.Provide individual and group golf instruction to players of varying skill\nlevels, including programs for ladies and seniors.Collaborate effectively with the golf operations team, course maintenance\nstaff, and management to ensure smooth daily operations and an exceptional\ngolfing experience.Oversee daily golf shop operations, including inventory management,\nmerchandising, and maintaining a professional retail environment.Support and promote ladies' and men’s leagues, events, and programming to\nencourage participation and member engagement.Ensure the golf course and practice facilities are presented in excellent\ncondition throughout the day.Deliver outstanding customer service while fostering a welcoming and inclusive\nenvironment for all members and guests.Requirements PGA Associate, or PGA Class A member.Knowledge of Rules of Golf, Tournament Operations (Golf Genius platform),\nPlayer Development, Golf Car Fleet Management, and Golf Club rental programs.Proficiency in IT and relevant software applications, including Microsoft\nOffice and computerized POS systems, with a willingness to learn resort\nplatforms.Benefits 401(k) plan with employer matchingMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offGolf privileges for employees and an accompanying spouse or guestTraining and education assistance
