Windsor Athletic Club is a 72,000 sq ft full-service fitness & athletic facility located next to the beautiful Lake Windsor Country Club. WAC features well-equipped 24-7 strength and cardio areas w/ locker room/shower access, a 5-lane lap pool, 3 group exercise studios with a variety of live and virtual classes, 3 full size basketball courts that function for volleyball, pickleball, and badminton as well, an indoor soccer field, a 3-lane indoor track, infrared saunas, whirlpool, snack/bar area, golf simulators and a large kid’s club.

We are seeking motivated and passionate Personal/Small Group Trainers to join our team. As a Personal Trainer, you will play a crucial role in helping clients achieve their fitness goals through personalized training programs and guidance. You will be responsible for creating tailored workout plans, providing instruction on proper exercise techniques, and fostering a supportive environment that encourages clients to push their limits. Personal Trainer/Coach
Reports To: Fitness Director
Responsibilities:
Conduct fitness assessments to evaluate clients’ physical capabilities and track progress. (Functional Movement Screen, InBody, etc)
Design individualized training programs based on clients' fitness levels, goals, and preferences.
Teach proper exercise techniques and body mechanics to ensure safety and effectiveness during workouts.
Provide motivation and support to clients during training sessions, helping them stay accountable.
Lead group fitness classes as needed, creating an engaging atmosphere for participants.
Stay updated on the latest fitness trends, techniques, and health information to provide the best service possible.
Promote health club services and programs to potential clients through effective fitness sales strategies.
Collaborate with other trainers and staff to enhance the overall client experience at the gym.
Keep the gym and training areas tidy and clean. Ability to lift 45+ pounds.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of program design tailored to various fitness levels.
Experience in teaching physical education or coaching sports is highly desirable.
Familiarity with body mechanics and anatomy to ensure safe exercise practices.
Motivated to build your own “business” within our business. Sales experience helpful
Experience leading group fitness classes is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate clients.

Education/Experience & Requirements:
A personal trainer certification from a nationally accredited certifying organization is required (ACSM/NASM preferred). A four-year degree in Exercise Science or a related field is preferred. A minimum of one year of experience in personal training with a proven track record of client retention is highly preferred
Experience in teaching Group Exercise classes a plus
CPR/AED Certified required
