Lake Forest Golf Club is seeking a full-time, year-round Equipment Manager to join our golf course maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented mechanic who takes pride in maintaining equipment to the highest standards.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage and oversee the golf course equipment maintenance programPerform diagnostics, repairs, routine service, and preventative maintenance on mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, small engines, and other turf equipmentDevelop and maintain organized preventative maintenance schedulesMaintain accurate service records, repair logs, and parts inventoryMonitor equipment performance and proactively identify maintenance needs before failures occurMaintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environmentCoordinate daily with the Golf Course Superintendent regarding equipment priorities and operational needsAssist in equipment setup, adjustments, and seasonal preparationEnsure all equipment is maintained according to safety standards and manufacturer specificationsHelp train staff on proper equipment operation and daily care proceduresAssist with procurement and organization of parts, supplies, and toolsStay current with industry trends, equipment technology, and best practices in turf equipment managementWhat We’re Looking For

Preferred qualifications include:
Experience working with golf course, landscape, agricultural, or small engine equipmentStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the maintenance teamSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyPositive attitude and willingness to assist wherever neededWelding, hydraulic, electrical, and reel grinding experience are a plusEmployment Standards
Must possess a valid driver’s licenseMust be at least 18 years of ageAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to push, pull, bend, stand, and walk for extended periodsAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsDependable, punctual, and accountableFlexible and adaptable to changing priorities and seasonal demandsIf you enjoy working with your hands, solving mechanical challenges, and being part of a team committed to continual improvement, we would love to hear from you.
