Golf Course Maintenance Crew

Job Description: Newport National Golf Club is seeking reliable, self-motivating, and hard-working individuals to join their grounds crew to aid in the maintenance of the 27 golf holes, practice facilities, horse farm, and properties. The seasonal positions would open in May and run through November (weather permitting). There are both full- and part-time positions available. The applicants would be required to work some weekends and holidays. Prior experience with landscaping and golf a plus but not required. Responsibilities: · Mowing greens, tees and fairways (Some hand mowing) · Hand watering of localized dry spots · Line trimming and edging of beds, markers, and bunkers · Raking and maintenance of bunkers · Must be able to lift 50 lbs. And perform any duty given by superintendent Pay ranges from $17 - $19 dollars per hour Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 30 per week Benefits: • Employee discount • Flexible schedule Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
