Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Fort Benning, Georgia is looking for a Golf Course Superintendent.
Position Overview:
Duties:
• Incumbent is responsible for the maintenance, repair and condition of the entire playing area of the golf course.
• This includes directing and supervising subordinate employees in phases of course maintenance to include mowing, fertilizing and maintaining tees, fairways, greens, and roughs.
• Supervises the cleaning, painting and general repair of buildings, fences, bridges, and shelters directly affecting golf play to include the completion of general landscaping projects.
Requirements:
Work experience performing duties as described above.
Must be able to obtain a DOD Pest Management Certificate.
Working knowledge of chemicals used on insects and for weeds and brush control.
Highly Preferred Criteria:
Highly Qualified candidates will posses 3 years’ of experience as a Golf Course Superintendent
Highly Qualified candidates will have knowledge working with chemicals used on insects and for weeds and brush control.
Highly Qualified candidates will posses State or DOD Pest Management Certificate.
Highly Qualified candidates will a four-year degree in Agronomy; Or 24 semester hours in major study in botanical grass/plants.

Compensation:
$58,000 – $70,000 per year.
