Position Requirements:
Must be available to work weekends and holidays.Education/Experience:2 years of experience in the golf industry is required.Must be an apprentice or member of The P.G.A. of America.Essential Responsibilities:Provide quality golf instruction to members and guests both individually and group situations with the ability to utilize golf teaching video software.Custom fit players with golf equipment.Run golf tournament schedule under the direction of the Director of Golf.Provide members and guests with quality club repairRun member tournament program under the direction of the Director of Golf.Supervise the golf handicap system.Play golf with members and guests when time allows.Work in Golf Shop as needed.Keep golf course properly marked with appropriate hazard stakes, out of bounds stakes and yardages.Bring any issues regarding staff and golf operation to the attention of the Director of Golf.Off-season: assistant professionals will work outside service shifts due to staff size and longer days, and to cover for outside staff during vacations.Perform additional duties as assigned.Equal Employment Opportunity - Drug free workplace
