Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Player Services Supervisor plays a key role in enhancing the overall golf experience for members and guests. It is a liaison between Inside and Outside Golf and ensures a positive and seamless golf experience.
Supervision
This position supervisory responsibility for Player Service Team Leads, Player Services Reps and/or Cart Washers. Works under the direction of the golf club management.

Operational responsibilities:
Customer Service Excellence:Ensure that all golf guests receive high quality service, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Notify management immediately of issues. Foster a welcoming environment.
Team Coordination: Oversee the player services and cart washer team, providing training, guidance and support to staff to maintain service standards. Provides instructions and feedback to ensure that the team completes tasks and are understood.
Operation Coordination: Coordinate daily operations related to the golf course, including cart rentals, course readiness, and tee time scheduling with Inside Golf.
Golf Tournament / Events: Assist in the organization and execution of golf tournaments to ensure all player services run smoothly.
Maintenance Feedback: While not directly responsible for course maintenance, coordinate with the Grounds Department to ensure the course is in optimal and safe condition for play.
Hands-on Supervision: Able to perform both the Player Services Rep and Cart Washer roles. This includes the ability to manage golf carts, maintain cleanliness, and knowing how the schedule integrates with the tee sheet and seasonal variations.
Range and Fleet (Golf Cart) Management: Ensure carts are in good condition and distributed on usage and needs. Keep record of carts in need of service.
Lost Equipment: Ensure that lost equipment is tracked and inventoried appropriately.
Attend meetings and trainings, as scheduled.
Conform with all safety standards and use of all appropriate safety equipment.
Performs all other duties, as assigned.
Education and Experience Required
High School Degree/GED. Prior Player Services (Outside Golf) required. Prefer previous supervisory experience in a golf course or service industry environment.
Skills and Abilities
Lead by example: Demonstrate the behaviors and the work ethic expected for a five star golf club.
Basic knowledge of golf including etiquette, golf club’s course layout and services offered.
Prioritization of Duties: Complete tasks efficiently and with a clear sense of urgency.
Must be dependable and reliable.
Self-starter and eager to learn.
Professionalism and proper attire: Uphold high standards in appearance and hygiene.
Create a positive atmosphere including courteous interactions, open communication and mutual respect.
Be an active participant in the activities taking place within Player Services during assigned shift.
Cleark communication, both orally and in-writing.
Be accountable as a supervisor for actions.
Computer Skills
Required:
Ability to use employee self-service on company’s human resources/payroll database.
Ability to use golf-related databases.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Required because of driving golf carts: Valid State Driver’s License

Ability to work schedule required to fulfill duties of position. At times, individual must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with ability to handle and prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands and to seek supervisory assistance as appropriate. Must seek approval from supervisor before incurring overtime, Schedule flexibility which may include weekends and holidays.
