Job Title: Logistics and Trade Administrator I
Business Unit: 840100 Supply Chain
Reports to: Trade Compliance Manager
Job Summary:
The Logistics and Trade Administrator assists with logistics customs regulations. This role ensures
that shipments comply with applicable import and export laws while also ensuring timely
scheduling of shipments and keeping in mind freight cost.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Assist the Trade Compliance Manager with maintaining Mizuno's FTZ Program and ensuring
compliance, including record-keeping, document preparation, and attendance during
compliance visits
• Monitor and review customs clearance for daily shipments, providing instructions and
supplemental information to third parties as needed
• Provide assistance in creating reports to third-party stakeholders, including customs
brokers
• Manage air approval requests which includes collaborating with various stakeholders as
well as maintaining and tracking approvals from various parties
• Issue claims with our insurance providers and forwarders
• Attend Quarterly Business Reviews with expeditors and consultants
• Work with third party consultants to maintain monthly shipping schedules, in conjunction
with our First Sale for Reconciliation Duty Savings Program
• Assist the manager with internal and external audit programs, including coordination of
schedules, audit participation, and issuance of audit reports
• Auditing data in our systems to ensure uniformity throughout
• Assist supply chain team regarding shipments, including delays, increased rates, and other
such issues that may arise
• Be able to step in when team members are out
• Assist with updating SOPs
• Maintain current knowledge base related to FTZ and other trade compliance topics through
ongoing training and education
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Detail oriented and committed to maintaining the highest level of compliance with US
Customs
• Experience utilizing integrated Import Order Management systems
• Strong Excel skills (must be able to create pivot tables and detailed reports)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work as a collaborative and supportive team member
• Ability to multi-task and manage time sensitive deadlines effectively
• Must be neat, organized, and self-motivated
• Experience with Oracle or SAP systems
• Experience in the apparel/footwear industry preferred
• Experience with Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ) preferred
• Experience with Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) program preferred
Education and Experience:
• Four-year college degree in International Business, Logistics, or a related field
• 1-2 years' experience working as an expert in customs compliance, including valuation,
customs entry process, etc.
• 2-3 years of multi-modal logistics experience, including air, ocean, rail, and ground
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
