Executive Pastry Chef

Position Summary Jonathan's Landing Golf Club is seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef to join our Culinary team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional desserts and baked goods that elevate the member dining experience. The ideal candidate brings a passion for pastry arts, a commitment to consistency and presentation, and the ability to thrive in a high-quality, service-driven club environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and present a wide variety of desserts, including cakes, pastries, custards, icings, fillings, frozen desserts, and fruit-based creations Collaborate with the culinary team to review daily menus and upcoming events to ensure timely and efficient production Assist in the preparation and scheduling of breads, rolls, muffins, and other baked goods to maintain freshness and availability Develop new and innovative dessert offerings that enhance the Club's dining experience Monitor inventory levels and communicate ordering needs to maintain proper stock Ensure proper use and care of all kitchen and baking equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pastry station in accordance with sanitation standards Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on exceptional member service Qualifications Culinary degree or Certified Executive Pastry Chef (CEPC) designation preferred, or equivalent experience Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a high-end restaurant, private club, or luxury hotel environment Proven ability to execute both à la carte service and high-volume banquet production Prior leadership or supervisory experience required Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and kitchen operations ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain within a designated timeframe) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds Flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Core Competencies Commitment to excellence and attention to detail Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Professionalism, teamwork, and respect in all interactions Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities Dedication to maintaining a safe and compliant workplace Why Join Jonathan's Landing At Jonathan's Landing Golf Club, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional experiences to our members through outstanding service, quality, and attention to detail.
