I. Position:
Golf Course Maintenance Team Member
II. Job Summary:
Responsible for completing any and all necessary tasks for maintaining the golf course.
III. Job Tasks:
1. Safely operate lightweight equipment, golf carts, walk mowers and heavy equipment as required.
2. Proper cleaning, refueling and storage of equipment after daily use.
3. Assist with irrigation repairs.
4. Assist with fertilizer applications.
5. Actively participate in daily preparation of golf course (rake bunkers, blow leaves, mowing, etc.).
6. Trimming and edging of irrigation heads, drains, plaques, yardage markers, valve boxes, etc.
7. Assist Project Foreman and other team members with ongoing course maintenance.
8. Can readily identify and report any and all equipment malfunctions to supervisor or Head Mechanic.
9. Attend morning team meeting.
10. Performs other appropriate tasks designated by supervisors.
IV. Reports To:
Golf Course Superintendent, Assistant Superintendents, Project Foreman.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $16.50 to $17.00 /hour (DOE) + $24.75-$25.50/hour overtime
