Golf Shop Merchandiser / Shop Manager

<h3>Essential Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Collaborate with buyers and vendors to curate a selection of merchandise that aligns with member preferences and trends</li> <li>Create attractive and engaging displays to strategically showcase products to enhance sales and drive growth</li> <li>Assist customers with finding the right products, providing recommendations, and offering support during sales transactions</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Comfortable working with POS systems and basic computer programs (Microsoft Excel, inventory systems, etc.)</li> <li>Passion for golf and knowledge of golf apparel and equipment highly desirable</li> <li>Process purchases, returns, and exchanges accurately through the POS system</li> <li>Assist with special orders, product inquiries, and member charge accounts</li> <li>Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment</li> <li>Receive, tag, and display merchandise in alignment with club merchandising standards</li> <li>Maintain proper inventory levels and restock merchandise as needed</li> <li>Assist with seasonal transitions, floor resets, promotions, and markdowns</li> <li>Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with periodic stock counts</li> <li>Work closely with the Head Golf Professional and Golf Operations team to achieve sales goals</li> <li>Answering the phone and booking lessons and rounds of golf</li> </ul>
