Bartender - Norton Country Club

Position Overview Norton Country Club is seeking a friendly, professional, and experienced Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. As a key representative of our club, you will provide exceptional service to members and their guests while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, presentation, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to club standards • Create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for members and guests • Maintain full knowledge of drink menus, specialty cocktails, wines, and beers • Ensure bar area is clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times • Process orders accurately using the POS system • Verify member accounts and ensure proper billing procedures • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and adhere to all responsible service guidelines • Assist with special events, tournaments, banquets, and private functions • Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation standards Qualifications • Previous bartending experience required (country club, fine dining, or upscale environment preferred) • Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wine service, and beer selections • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Professional appearance and demeanor • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed • Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service • TIPS or equivalent alcohol service certification preferred Skills & Attributes • Member-focused mindset with a commitment to hospitality excellence • Strong attention to detail • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Team-oriented with a positive attitude • Reliable and punctual Compensation & Benefits • Competitive hourly wage plus gratuities • Flexible scheduling • Opportunities for growth within the club Job Types: Part-time, Full-time Schedule: • Monday to Friday • Weekend availability Work Location: In person
