About the Role
Overview
Brand Ambassador (STARTER/COURSE MARSHAL PRIMARILY) at one of the premier Public Golf Courses in the DFW Area. Built in 1997, and purchased by Advanced Golf Partners in 2017, this D.A. Weibring gem has become a training ground and standard for success in our company. We are looking for a team oriented individuals that would like be a part of our culture and contribute to our brand in a fun driven golf environment.
Job Summary
The Golf Player Assistant is responsible for assisting in the following duties:
Promoting the Brand Priorities for Bridlewood Golf club
Starting Play for patrons before each round
Monitoring Pace of Play on the Golf Course.
Assisting members and guests to ensure an exceptional experience for everyone.
Reporting Structure
Reports to the Director of Golf
Day-to-Day
Assist members/guests ensuring an enjoyable golf experience.
Offer helpful suggestions on golf course etiquette to members/guests when appropriate.
Address any violations with a polite and respectful demeanor, ensuring a positive interaction.
Ensure the orderly flow of play by adhering to tee times and club standards, minimizing delays, and avoiding gaps in play.
Ensure timely presence on the course according to the schedule, coordinating with starters or golf operations staff to report any incidents or issues.
Collaborate with other golf operations staff including Golf Shop Professionals, Outside Services, and other Brand Ambassadors to ensure efficient and outstanding customer service.
Keep members/guests informed about daily club offerings
Additional Duties
Due to the dynamic nature of the club, employees are expected to assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management.
Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff.
Follow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same.
About You
Preferred
Prior experience in a similar role or knowledge of golf.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with members, guests, and staff.
Excellent knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, and best practices.
A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding service.
High attention to detail and reliability.
Physical Requirements
Primarily outdoors with frequent exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures and humidity.
Sitting, standing, walking, climbing/ladders, squatting/kneeling, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling, twisting/bending, lifting/carrying up to 100 lbs., talking, hearing, and seeing.
Work Schedule
Available to work a minimum of 2-3 days per week and more if desired.
Adherence to attendance requirements as outlined in the weekly schedule.
Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet position deadlines.
