About the Role
Job Description: Wilmington Country Club is seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as a Men's Locker Room Attendant. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in upholding the standards of our prestigious club by ensuring the smooth operation of our locker room facilities. This full-time position requires availability on weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays to provide exceptional service to our members and guests.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Locker Room Manager in maintaining the luxurious, organized, and well-stocked locker room environment that our members expect.
Welcome and assist members and guests with locker assignments, amenities, and any inquiries they may have.
Maintain the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation in the locker room, adhering to the club's exceptional standards.
Collaborate with the Locker Room Manager to oversee inventory, restocking supplies, and promptly addressing any maintenance or repair needs.
Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and service quality within the locker room area.
Address member concerns, feedback, and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
Keep accurate records of locker assignments, usage statistics, and any incidents, ensuring a well-documented history of locker room operations.
Uphold the club's safety and security standards by strictly following policies and procedures.
Provide an exemplary level of customer service, demonstrating attentiveness, helpfulness, and approachability to all locker room patrons.
Demonstrate flexibility by working varying shifts including weekends, weekdays, nights, and holidays as set by the Locker Room Manager.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality or customer service is advantageous.
Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within a high-end facility or hospitality setting.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
Detail-oriented nature and organizational skills essential to maintain the locker room's upscale ambiance and functionality.
Self-sufficiency as well as a collaborative spirit, enabling adaptation to dynamic situations.
Basic computer skills to manage digital records and communication effectively.
Availability to work weekends, weekdays, nights, and holidays in alignment with the schedule.
Physical aptitude for standing, walking, and carrying out light lifting and cleaning tasks.
