Position Summary
The Facility Maintenance Team Member will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and health of the golf course grounds and clubhouse. This includes performing various tasks to ensure the clubhouse and course are in top condition for golfers, including mowing, trimming, irrigation, landscaping, and minor repairs.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING
Operate various types of mowing equipment to maintain fairways, greens, tees, and roughs
Perform trimming around trees, bunkers, and other obstacles
Assist with the installation, operation, and maintenance of the irrigation system to ensure proper watering of all course areas
Rake and maintain sand traps to ensure they are in good playing condition
Assist in setting up the course for daily play, including moving tee markers, replacing divots, repairing ball marks, and ensuring hazard markers are in place
Plant, trim, and maintain trees, shrubs, and flowers around the golf course and club facilities
Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of groundskeeping equipment to ensure it operates efficiently and safely
Apply pesticides and herbicides as needed, following all safety protocols and regulations
Assist with leaf cleanup and other seasonal tasks as required
Monitor for spills throughout the facility and clean as needed
Clean all floor surfaces and glass in facility
Clean, restock, and maintain all bathrooms: toilets, sinks, floors, etc.
Clean all guest seating and lobby area
Facility trash removal
Assist other departments as necessary
Complete special projects, daily assignments and other duties as directed by management
Provide courteous and friendly service to all guests with answers and directions as needed
Have general knowledge regarding program options and facility events
Be responsive to guest concerns and direct to appropriate Manager to resolve
Minimum Qualifications
Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours) and regular attendance necessary
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to maintain focus in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment
Must have excellent guest service skills
Must be detail‑oriented and have outstanding organizational skills
Ability to multi‑task and prioritize
Ability to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations
Must be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, leaders, and fellow Team Members
Must work well with others
Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facility
Commitment to the safety and wellbeing of others
Have sports experience or an interest to learn
Working Conditions And Physical Demands
Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high
May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time, whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop, or bend into awkward positions while performing job functions
Facility has intermittent noise
Will be required to operate a computer
Must be able to walk intermittently
Must be able to successfully complete our Utility Vehicle training program
Salary: $16.25 - $18.25 per hour
