Prepare and service beverages in a courteous, friendly and professional manner while complying with state and local laws.Education and Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of 6 months related experience, or an equivalent combination of education.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet members/guests in a courteous professional manner.Mix beverages according to set guidelines to ensure uniformity of service.Ensure that bar area is properly stocked and maintained.Close and act as cashier for the dining room and bar operation.Responsible for understanding menus (preparation and display).Has vast knowledge of mixology.Communicate all problems or concerns to Outlet Manager or Captain.Assist food server in the performance of their jobs.Clear and wait on tables when needed.Ensure that bar area is properly set and cleaned on a daily basis.Assist Outlet Manager and/or Captain with monthly inventories to ensure accuracy.Attend resort training classes as required.Attend outlet staff meetings as scheduled.Follow resort standards of operation procedures.Inform supervisor of needed equipment or necessary repairs.Monitor the security of all beverage items.Maintain clean and neat area at all times.Monitor cash and operation of microburys.Be available to work in various locations of Food and Beverage outlets depending on business levels. Work holidays wherever needed even if primary outlet is closed.Physical DemandsThe employee must occasionally stand, walk, talk or hear. The employee must regularly push and/or pull 180 pounds and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
