About the Role
The Quechee Club is seeking a skilled and dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. We are looking for an individual with craftsmanship skills, strong building knowledge, and the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
Position Overview
This position primarily focuses on painting and general maintenance throughout the Club’s facilities. Duties include performing skilled maintenance, repair, alteration, and remodeling work on buildings, offices, and other areas of the Club. During the winter season, responsibilities will also include snow removal from walkways and decks to ensure safe member and staff access.
Key Responsibilities
Perform skilled work in the maintenance, repair, alteration, and remodeling of Club facilities.Conduct general maintenance using shop equipment and power tools, including saws, sanders, planers, air nailers, routers, and radial arm saws.Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on cooling and air distribution systems.Prepare paint, match colors, and paint a variety of surfaces both interior and exterior.Install sheetrock, perform plasterwork, and complete patch plastering as needed.Assist with snow and ice removal during the winter season.Qualifications
Proficiency in painting applications is required.Prior experience in construction, maintenance, or carpentry is preferred.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials as required by maintenance activities.Must have a clean driver licenseBenefits & Schedule
