Position Overview Coal Club is seeking motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented individuals to join our Golf Course Maintenance Team. This role works closely with the Superintendent and agronomy staff to help deliver exceptional playing conditions and maintain the natural beauty of the property. Whether you are experienced in golf course maintenance or looking to grow within the industry, this is an opportunity to develop your skills in a high-level, team-driven environment. Key Responsibilities • Assist in the daily maintenance and care of the golf course, including turf management and irrigation • Maintain tees, fairways, greens, bunkers, and cart paths to ensure top-tier playing conditions • Operate and maintain equipment such as mowers, utility vehicles, rollers, and skid steers • Perform a variety of tasks including mowing, trimming, weed control, bunker maintenance, and course setup • Support course construction and improvement projects as needed • Work collaboratively with the Superintendent and team to execute agronomic plans Qualifications • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team • Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills • Basic understanding of golf or willingness to learn the game and course operations • Ability to operate or learn to operate maintenance equipment and tools • Basic math and computer skills • Effective verbal communication skills • Valid Driver’s License required Physical Requirements • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50+ pounds • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor for extended periods • Capable of safely operating power equipment and machinery What We’re Looking For • Attention to detail and pride in your work • Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn • Dependability and strong time management • Passion for outdoor work and high-quality environments • Equipment mechanic experience is a plus What We Offer • Competitive hourly pay based on experience • Flexible part-time schedule with potential for full-time growth • Opportunity to work at one of the premier golf destinations in the country • Hands-on experience in golf course construction, renovation, and maintenance • Supportive, team-oriented culture • Clear path for advancement within the agronomy department Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour Work Location: In person
