Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities and grounds. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Maintenance Person will play a vital role in maintaining the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our outdoor spaces. Responsibilities • Perform regular lawn care, including mowing, trimming, and fertilizing to ensure healthy growth. • Irrigate gardens and landscaped areas effectively to maintain optimal moisture levels. • Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees through pruning, weeding, and seasonal planting. • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely for various maintenance tasks. • Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as mulching, edging, and debris removal. • Assist with groundskeeping duties to ensure clean and safe outdoor environments. • Identify and report any maintenance issues or repairs needed within the facilities. • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently. Experience • Previous experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required. • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in maintenance work is essential. • A background in gardening or horticulture is a plus. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. • A commitment to safety practices while performing maintenance tasks.
