HOURLY RATE: $21.00
About the club:
Established in 1887, Denver Country Club is recognized as the first club west of the Mississippi and one of the most prestigious private clubs in the country. The 585 member, by invitation only private club, hosts an 18 hole golf course, two indoor golf simulators (Foresight Quads), indoor and outdoor tennis, platform tennis, pickleball, ice hockey, lawn bowling, croquet, casual and fine dining. The club has a long history of golf championships including the Denver Open (PGA Tour Event 1962-1964), Trans-Mississippi Amateur, Pacific Coast Amateur and Curtis Cup (1984). A Golf Course renovation was completed in 2020 - Gil Hanse. The renovation has helped to secure Denver Country Club as one of the premier golf courses in the Western United States. The Golf Shop is consistently recognized as an AGM Platinum Award Winning Golf Shop (Top 100) and has been recognized as a multiple winner of the Colorado Section PGA Merchandiser of the Year - Private Category.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Arrives at scheduled time on floor in proper uniform and ready to work.
• Reads over the B.E.O. (banquet event order) for event and is responsible for knowing and understanding all vital information for the event
• Checks in with Captain or Manager then completes assigned side work.
• Sets tables with proper set-up techniques
• Provides immediate and constant attention to our Membership and guests during the function.
• Is attentive to tables assigned and responds promptly to any requests.
• Executes proper steps of service for every table.
• Pours wine, coffee, water and/or other beverages served with and after the meal.
• Maintains tables through clean-up stages, clearing soiled and unused dishes as needed.
• Takes cocktail orders and serves food in specified locations using proper service techniques
• Maintains and cleans all assigned work areas in kitchen, cubbies, and other banquet areas.
• Completes closing functions as assigned by Manager/Captain
• Other tasks as assigned by the Manager
REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience in fine dining service or banquet service
• Great upbeat attitude and a passion for service
• Must have great communication skills & follow through skills
• Work a flexible schedule
• Works less than 30 hours as needed based on scheduled events
• Works holidays and/or weekend based on event demand
• Can work well in a fast paced, yet friendly work environment
• Physical requirements of the job: Standing for long periods of time, reaching, lifting up to 30lbs., bending, squatting, walking.
