Setting up the golf course before play begins, ensuring optimum playing condition and providing golfers with the best possible experience.
These duties mainly consist of:
Cutting cups to change the pin location on greens.
Managing sand traps: raking sand traps, keeping uniform depth of sand by manually shoveling sand from one area to another inside bunkers, pulling weeds and cleaning out debris to maintain pristine bunkers.
Managing rope and stakes on the course to control golf cart traffic.
Filling divots and setting up tee boxes.
Cleaning greens with a backpack blower, repairing ball marks, emptying trash and picking up litter, and moving tee markers.
Sweeping, mopping, wiping down surfaces in employee use areas and cleaning equipment.
String trimming, hedging shurbs, trimming trees, raking and hauling debris.
Operating equipment such as mowers, chainsaws, tactors/trailers.
Spreading fertilizer.
Cleaning the Maintenance facility break room and bathroom.
This is not an exhaustive list, will be tasked with various projects around the golf course and facilities.
This is athletic work, that requires level of physical exertion and the ability to lift 50lbs repetitively throughout the shift.
Schedule: Monday-Friday from 4AM-10AM.
Must provide at least 2 professional references who can vouge for your dependability, attitude, and work ethic. A background check is required.
