Beverage Cart Attendant

General Summary: Responsible for providing food and beverages to players on the course in a timely fashion. Responsibilities and Duties: • Supervisor Responsibilities • None • Primary Duties • Greet Members promptly by name and make introductions with guests, always maintaining a polite and friendly manner. • Know and follow golf etiquette when approaching a golf group. • Provide timely coverage of assigned golf course(s), anticipate visits to each group every 4-5 holes, and maintain communication with other attendants and management. • Safely secure all products on the beverage cart and other company property as assigned. • Perform cart set up and breakdown procedures. • Clean and sanitize the beverage cart of all food, ice, and trash at the end of each shift. • Ensure health code standards are always met. Skills and Abilities Required: • Excellent observational skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • The ability to follow instructions well. Certification/Education and Experience: • Previous Beverage Cart Food and Bar experience preferred. • Alcohol and food safety awareness certificate. • Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart. You are comfortable working mostly outdoors. Working Condition: • There is a potential for stressful situations and for long hours. • Prolonged periods of being outdoors. • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements: • Requires the ability to safely lift and maneuver trays of food and other items. • Requires adjusting self in all directions to complete assigned tasks. • Constantly operates golf cart to move around the golf course.
