Food & Beverage Manager

Job Summary Looking for a better work-life balance? We're seeking a hands-on Food & Beverage Manager (Working Manager) to lead our clubhouse food and beverage operation. This is primarily a daytime position with weekend availability required, but unlike most restaurant management positions, very few shifts extend late into the evening. Responsibilities Prepare and serve high-quality food while maintaining a clean, organized kitchen.Lead the daily operation of the clubhouse kitchen and bar, ensuring excellent customer service.Hire, train, schedule, and supervise food and beverage staff.Manage food, beverage, and supply inventory while controlling costs and minimizing waste.Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and Tennessee alcohol service regulations.Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and daily reconciliation using the foreUP system.Work closely with the General Manager to develop menus, daily specials, and food service for tournaments and special events.Maintain a welcoming, team-oriented environment for members, guests, and staff.Assist in growing the food and beverage operation through quality, consistency, and outstanding service.Qualifications Previous experience as a Food & Beverage Manager, Restaurant Manager, Kitchen Manager, Chef, or similar leadership role preferred.Strong cooking skills and experience in a commercial kitchen.Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.Experience hiring, training, and supervising staff.Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and inventory management.Experience with POS systems and cash handling.Organized, dependable, and able to work independently.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.Weekend and holiday availability required.
