PM Hot Line Cook

Position Posting: PM Hot Line Cook (Part Time to Full Time) Edgewood Country Club – Pittsburgh, PA Edgewood Country Club is seeking a PM Hot Line Cook to join our à la carte culinary team. This position will begin as part-time with the opportunity to move into full-time hours as the season progresses. The PM Hot Line Cook will work closely with the Chef de Cuisine, Executive Chef, and culinary team to prepare and execute our daily à la carte menu for club members and guests. Position Details • Position: PM Hot Line Cook • Start Date: April 2026 • Pay: Starting at $18/hour, higher depending on experience • Schedule: Primarily PM shifts • Restaurant Hours: Kitchen closes at 8 or 9 PM depending on the season • Status: Part-Time transitioning to Full-Time as business demands increase Key Responsibilities • Work alongside the Chef de Cuisine, Executive Chef, and culinary team during service • Assist with à la carte prep and production • Execute dishes during service on the hot line • Maintain clean and organized workstations • Follow food safety and sanitation standards • Assist with closing duties at the end of service Kitchen Environment • Fast-paced, mid-volume kitchen • Menu ranges from classic country club cuisine to contemporary fine dining • Focus on quality, consistency, and teamwork Qualifications • Some professional kitchen experience required • 1–2 years line cook experience preferred • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment • Strong teamwork and communication skills • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and event-based schedules • Ability to collaborate and train in other areas of the kitchen, including à la carte and banquet operations, as needed About Edgewood Country Club Edgewood Country Club is a private club known for its strong culinary program and high standards of hospitality.
