Description Cragun’s Legacy Courses in beautiful Brainerd, MN, is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. A high performer in this role has knowledge of Golf Course operations and turf grass management. The Legacy is a beautiful 45-hole complex with a Par 3, Driving Range and Practice facility. Assist Superintendents in personnel management, training and daily golf course maintenance operations Help plan and execute agronomic programs including mowing, irrigation, fertilization, and pest management with proper record keeping Assist with facility and fleet of equipment maintenance Assist with irrigation system management, troubleshooting, and repairs Ensure safe work practices and compliance with company standards Provide leadership and supervision of daily course set up Develop and implement golf course improvement projects Requirements Two or four-year degree in Turf Grass Management, Agronomy, or related field MN Pesticide Applicator License (or ability to obtain) Prior Golf Course experience Valid Driver's License Experience with pesticides and irrigation applications Strong attention to detail and pride in golf course presentation Ability to lift 60+ pounds Knowledge of the game of golf Compensation and Benefits: 50-60,000/year depending upon experience Golfing Privileges/Discounts for you, friends and family Discounts at Cragun’s Resort (Dining, Lodging, Rentals, use of indoor pool, sports centre, pickleball courts) Full Benefits Package (medical, dental, vision, supplemental life insurance) Competitive PTO Package MGCSA/GCSAA dues Apply today and join our Legendary, growing team!
