Position Summary
Smoke Rise Country Club is seeking attentive and reliable Lifeguards to ensure a safe and enjoyable pool environment for our members and guests. This role requires strong awareness, quick response skills, and a commitment to excellent member service.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor pool areas to ensure the safety of all members and guests
Enforce pool rules and club policies in a professional manner
Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck and surrounding areas
Provide friendly and courteous service to members and guests
Qualifications
Lifeguard Certification required
CPR Certification preferred
Strong communication and decision-making skills
Ability to remain alert and attentive for extended periods
Prior lifeguard or aquatic experience is a plus
Schedule Requirements
Must be available to work shifts between 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Club is open Tuesday through Sunday (closed Mondays)
Weekend and holiday availability required
Work Environment
Outdoor pool setting in a private club environment
Fast-paced during peak hours with a focus on safety and service
