The City of Lampasas is currently accepting applications for the position of Greenskeeper.
Summary of Position
Performs golf course grounds maintenance; and performs various duties related to the maintenance of greens, tee boxes, and fairways.
Starting salary is $14.37/hour, DOQ, plus excellent benefits.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of: golf course grounds maintenance and equipment; and department policies and procedures.
Skill/Ability to: operate mower, tractors, and other equipment; understand and follow instructions; interpret policies and procedures; communicate effectively; and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers. Must be able to work in extreme weather changes.
Acceptable Experience and Training
o High school graduation, or its equivalent;
o One year experience as a greenskeeper preferred;
o or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Certificates and Licenses Required
o Valid Texas drivers’ license
