This position offers a unique opportunity to work both on the golf course and in the maintenance shop, helping ensure our equipment and playing conditions remain at a high level.
Position Responsibilities:
Assist in the daily maintenance and upkeep of the golf course, including mowing, trimming, bunker maintenance, and other turf care tasks.
Support the Head Mechanic with equipment maintenance and repairs as needed.
Perform routine maintenance on golf course equipment including mowers, utility vehicles, trimmers, and other small equipment.
Troubleshoot and assist with minor mechanical repairs.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance facility.
Work as part of a team to prepare the golf course for daily play.
Qualifications:
Basic mechanical knowledge required.
Experience with small engines and turf equipment preferred.
Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
Golf course maintenance experience is a plus, but not required.
Schedule:
Full-time position
Weekend work may be required as part of a rotating schedule.
