About the Role

About Old Waverly Club

Located in West Point, Mississippi, the Old Waverly Club is home to a 36-hole private golf experience unlike any other—where heritage, beauty, and bold innovation come together on timeless Southern ground. The Old Waverly course, founded in 1988 and shaped by the vision of George Bryan along with designers Bob Cupp and Jerry Pate, embodies classic elegance and championship pedigree, a place where generations have gathered and history has been made. Just across the way, the Mossy Oak course—crafted by Gil Hanse—ushers in a modern, nature-driven expression of the game, with sweeping fairways, native grasses, and a design philosophy rooted in authenticity and conservation. Together, these two world-class courses form a rare and inspiring partnership: one legacy, two unforgettable experiences, and a club where every round celebrates the land, the game, and the enduring spirit of the South.

Since opening in 1988, the club has earned national recognition for its exceptional championship courses and Southern hospitality. Old Waverly’s legacy includes hosting prestigious tournaments such as the 1999 U.S. Women’s Open, the 2006 U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur, and the 2019 U.S. Women’s Amateur, placing us among the nation’s respected championship venues. Beyond golf, Old Waverly offers a full spectrum of club amenities rooted in exceptional service and warm Southern charm. Our elegant clubhouse, luxurious lodging cottages, and social spaces create memorable experiences for members, guests, and visitors. At Old Waverly, we pride ourselves on a culture that values excellence, teamwork, and hospitality.
