Fort Wayne Country Club Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Team Member Fort Wayne Country Club is seeking motivated, dependable, and hardworking individuals to join our Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Team. This role is essential in maintaining the beauty, playability, and overall excellence of our golf course and club grounds. As a member of our Grounds Team, you will take pride in helping deliver a premier golf and club experience for our membership by ensuring the course and surrounding areas are consistently maintained to the highest standards. Position Overview The Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Team Member supports the daily upkeep of the golf course, landscaping, and club grounds. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors in a team-oriented environment and take pride in attention to detail. Key Responsibilities • Perform daily golf course maintenance including: · • Mowing greens, tees, fairways, and rough • Raking bunkers and maintaining sand traps • String trimming and edging • Assist with course setup: · • Changing hole locations • Setting tee markers and course signage • Maintain landscaping and grounds around clubhouse, pool, tennis, and common areas • Operate and maintain grounds equipment in a safe and efficient manner • Assist with irrigation tasks, including monitoring and basic adjustments • Support seasonal projects such as mulching, planting, and debris removal • Ensure all work is completed to FWCC standards of excellence Qualifications & Skills • Previous groundskeeping or landscaping experience preferred, but not required • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions • Strong work ethic with attention to detail • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Positive attitude and willingness to learn • Reliable transportation to and from work Physical & Schedule Requirements • Early mornings, weekends, and holidays are required based on Club operations • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical labor for extended periods of time outdoors • Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and operating equipment in varying weather conditions Why Join Fort Wayne Country Club? • Work at one of the premier private clubs in the region • Be part of a team that takes pride in excellence and tradition • Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in golf course operations • Positive, team-oriented work environment How to Apply Interested candidates are encouraged to apply by submitting an application or resume.
