Golf Course - Practice Facility Partner - Part TimeLocation: Port St. Lucie, FL
ResponsibilitiesGreet members and guests positively with a friendly welcome.Address golfers by name (Mr./Mrs./Sir/Madam) if known.Daily setup and breakdown of the practice facility.Pick, wash, and restock practice balls throughout the day.Keep the facility clean and safe for members and guests.Proper cleaning, staging, and storage of all equipment.Assist instructors with setup for lessons, clinics, and private tee rentals.Clean and wash golf cars, ashtrays, coolers, and wipe out before car is put away at night or before car goes out for a second round.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNo direct supervisory responsibilities.
QualificationsEducation and/or Experience: No prior experience or training required.Communication Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple sentences; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Reasoning Ability: Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios to practical situations.Collaboration and Team Work: Works harmoniously with others to get a job done, responds positively to instructions and procedures, and is able to work well with staff while maintaining relationships.Customer Focus: Meets the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; gathers customer information for improvements; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Florida Drivers' License.Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking and lifting up to 75 pounds required on a daily basis.BenefitsFlexible hours – days, nights, and weekends.401(k) Plan offered to all staff.Golf privileges and the opportunity to learn the game.Discounts on food & beverage and in the golf shop.Additional InformationFor more information on the PGA Golf Club, please visit www.pgavillage.com.
